Nazirah’s current work involves economic policy and public finance research. She brings experience in financial and economic analysis from earlier research roles in investment banking and capital market regulation. Previously, she led research on investment literacy, retirement readiness, and demographic ageing and contributed analytical input to international regulatory and sustainability-related initiatives, including work within IOSCO’s regulatory working groups. Her earlier research has informed national policy thinking and contributed to Malaysia’s strategic blueprints.
Nazirah holds a Bachelor of Economics (Finance) from IIUM and a Master of Economics (Financial Economics) from the University of Sydney.
