Jazreen believes sustainability targets can only be achieved when people, planet, and profit come together through public, private, and philanthropic partnerships. As Assistant Manager for Research at IDEAS, he managed several research projects, authored policy reports on ASEAN integration, the Belt and Road Initiative, youth, and SMEs, and currently leads research on green industrial policy, particularly the circular economy. With several years of ASEAN policy and corporate experience, he studies sustainable development in the entertainment industry as a PhD candidate at Chulalongkorn University, supported by the Second Century Fund (C2F). Jazreen holds a Master’s in Strategy and Diplomacy from the Institute of Diplomacy and Foreign Relations–Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia programme and read law at the University of the West of England under the Lord Templeman Scholarship.
