Assistant Manager, Research (Climate & Sustainability)
Jazreen is a firm believer that true sustainability thrives at the intersection of two powerful trios: people, planet, and profit, driven by the collective force of the public, private, and philanthropic sectors.
Now stepping into his role as Assistant Manager for Climate and Sustainability, he previously served as a Senior Research Executive at IDEAS, where he managed a major budget portfolio and authored the critical ASEAN Integration, BRI, and Youth & SME reports. With over five years of boots-on-the-ground experience across ASEAN, Jazreen’s career bridges high-level policy and everyday corporate impact. His track record spans coordinating regional programs for the Rockefeller Foundation to driving industrial circular economy initiatives in Thailand.
When he isn’t shaping sustainability frameworks, Jazreen is deep in his academic element. As a PhD candidate at Chulalongkorn University, he explores the fascinating intersection of bringing sustainable development to the entertainment industry—a nod to his personal love for attending concerts and following Korean and Thai pop culture. Backed by a Master’s in Strategy and Diplomacy (UKM) and a Bachelor of Laws (UWE Bristol), he brings the unique edge of a researcher who understands both the strict rule of law and the subtle art of diplomacy.
