Most recently, he served as a Public Affairs Policy Analyst at HSBC Asia-Pacific, contributing to regional policy strategy on digital assets, trade, energy policy, and geopolitical risk, and engaging with regulators, central banks, and ASEAN forums.

Ahmad holds a MSc in Global Politics and a BSc in Management from the London School of Economics, where his dissertation examined the relationship between financial systems and democratic institutions in Malaysia and Indonesia. When he is not working on public finance and policy research, he enjoys reading non-fiction and participating in book clubs.”
