The Economic and Business unit at IDEAS advocates for efficient market systems, trade liberalisation, and the establishment of a fair and effective global trading system. Reducing barriers to international trade and promoting efficient resource allocation are important for greater economic openness and integration, driving growth and development. Our work extends across diverse areas, including trade and regional integration, as well as support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). By advocating for policies that promote competition and innovation, our aim is to create a more competitive economy that benefits all stakeholders.
